Land and Spirit is superbly situated at Beech Hill in the East Sussex High Weald “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”, in the heart of Ashdown Forest enjoying access to 6000 acres of sandstone heathland. Our stone circle, Beech Hill Stone Circle, is a fantastic feature of the property which we use in our workshops and rituals.Read about Stone Circle building
Beware of SatNav, It will lead you astray!
FROM the A22
Heading South from Forest Row, from the A22 take Crowborough Road, which is on the left hand side just before you come into the village of Nutley.
Proceed along Crowborough Road for 0.7miles.
Beech Hill driveway is on the left hand side, the second driveway on the left after the track to Nutley Windmill, when coming up from the A22.
The SatNav will take you to Nutley windmill. Ignore it, we are on a short track/driveway off Crowborough Road.
If you come to the cattle grid, then you have gone 400 metres too far.
FROM the A26
Coming from the A26, take the turn signed to Nutley, “New Road”, between Crowborough and Heron’s Ghyll.
Heading west go slightly left across the staggered crossroads at Duddleswell, onto Crowborough Road.
Proceed over two cattle grids, about a mile, and then our driveway is the third track on the right. Watch out for free-range sheep and cows on the road.
